Born and raised in Germany, Markus took to the visual arts from a very early age. After completing an advertising photography apprenticeship in Saarbrücken, Germany, Markus came to California in 1997 to attend Art Center College of Design in Pasadena. He graduated early in 2000 with an honors degree in Photography and Cinematography and has been working for US and International clients ever since.
