I am an artist living in SE Portland, Oregon, near the lovely Willamette River.   Although I loved creating works of fantasy in my early years, and caustic political art in my 30's, drawing from life and portraying natural science subjects has been the constant theme running through my work.   I simply love creating a drawing or painting that illuminates an aspect of an owl, a wild hare, or perhaps a rare or endangered species.   That is not to suggest that I don't enjoy sketching out the occasional jackalope or anthropomorphic rabbit character every once in a while!   I also...more
