Marilyn Lowry is a native Houstonian and retired educator who has re-awakened her passion for art and her spiritual connection while enjoying life in the forests of Montgomery, Texas.   Her love and respect for our planet and all of nature has led her to incorporating recycled objects into beautiful pieces of art.   Her current work is with water media, primarily acrylics, and includes found objects, jewelry, stones, recycled paints and fabrics.   She loves textural, organic design with some works that she calls 'imaginary realism' and many experimental abstract pieces.   Marilyn...more
