The on-going series entitled 'Tango Temperaments' is a collaborative artistic endeavor between photographer Marie-Dominique Verdier (www.MDVphoto.com) and tango dancer Diana Cruz (www.Cruzial.Art).   The series aims to embody the complex emotions and allure of tango, and by extension, life.   The inspiration for Verdier comes from integrating Cruz' body and movements into the spaces they find themselves in, and Cruz' varied shapes of dancing are a result of an emotional connection to those places, thus creating an original, one-of-a-kind image in each location.Their collaboration started on a rainy day in...more
