Marek Narzekalski
who was born and raised in Poland was perpetually fascinated by magical island living since time of his childhood.
He met his beautiful Palauan island girl Melly Silamai, who became his muse as well as his wife, while living in Hawaii.
Sensibility of figure and form remains at the heart of his subject matter.
He is beguiled by the magical, unsinkable Islands of Palau and its people. The rich and vivid colors and swaying people inspired the rhythm in his work. His vision of island society, distinguished by his 'coup de oil pastels', has quickly brought him numerous admirers of his work. Marek Narzekalski tropical images were exhibited exclusively at “Batutii Art Gallery ' in Palau.
