Magpie Springs is a vineyard property near Willunga and McLaren Vale in South Australia. Part of the Adelaide Hills Wine Region. It has a Cellar door and Art gallery. Adelaide Artist Artist Avril Thomas (who specializes in tonal realism portraiture - paintings and drawings) has been photographically documenting life onsite since 2013 her studio is onsite. The images were always conversation starters at the Cellar Door. Then Covid.... It was time to get these images out so more people could see, enjoy and get an understanding of what a beautiful place it is, even if they wernt able to visit.

The wines are Estate grown, boutique and only available onsite from the Cellar Door. Sat + Sun. The property grows 7 different varietals of vines. Shiraz, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Riesling, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Merlot. Wine life as a primary producer is quite particular.
The Art Gallery onsite: - The artworks in the Gallery have always been Original Art. Magpie Springs has hosted National and International Artists works in the Art gallery. Because of the nature of the property, we have also held many Photographic Competitions. Many artists of all genres have used this property as backdrop for their work. Painting, Photography, Filming, Sculpture and Music. Original artists of every genre have visited here... it is unique!
Many couples have chosen the garden at Magpie Springs to say 'I Do'
