I'm an abstract painter, digital artist and photographer with a passion for color and the forms of nature. I've had solo shows of my paintings and participated in numerous juried group shows. I enjoy making digital art and discovering new visual experiences, whatever the medium. I've sold my work online and in galleries, exhibits, and boutiques. I'm a past member of Smithtown Township Art League, Northport Arts Coalition and the Art League of Long Island. I've studied with the late Sal Tortora (watercolor) and the late Stan Brodsky (mostly acrylics).
My writing has been quoted on the net, particularly in the vast collection of art quotes at The Painters Keys site, in printed material and in a movie, and has been published at 'Creativity Portal.' You can read my short commentaries on creative process here:

Exploring nature is a passionate interest for me. Writing four Young Adult novels, some soft, sociological sci fi stories, and poetry about nature, has been a wonderful part of my journey. I might revisit the writing if I ever stop making art! I'm interested in the spiritual aspect of creative process and how it connects us to our beautiful planet.
