..Luanne Brooten is an artist who graduated from the University of Minnesota with an Interior Design Major and a Fine Arts minor.   She has been creating art and working in the design field for 47 years.   She has lived in SW New Mexico for 16 years and for 10 years she owned a gallery called Silver Spirit Gallery in Silver City NM.   In 2015 she sold the gallery and retired to spend more time painting.   The paintings are chronicling SW New Mexico and ancient Indian designs that she reinterprets.Luanne photographs, does pen and ink drawings, watercolor paintings, and acrylic...more
