Lisa@ArtInTheHaus.com ~ 602-790-6418 ~ Welcome and thank you for stopping by! I just love taking photographs, and I love, love ART.

My first camera was a BROWNIE HAWKEYE given to me by my father when I was six-years old growing up in New York City. My childhood photos were taken with the Brownie Hawkeye during road trips with my parents to Lake George, New York.

As I grew more curious about the world, I took more photos. My parents realized that I had an insatiable desire to see the world through the lens of a camera, thereby, lending my perspective of the world to each photograph. Before I turned twelve-years old, dad had gifted me a lifetime subscription to National Geographic. The pages of National Geographic were shinny, crisp and gave insight to people, places and cultures that I knew I had to visit someday,.

As life my life played out, I did travel far and wide, but it wasn't until I turned 65 and decided to retire from radio broadcasting, that I picked up my Nikon and set out to photograph as much of my state of Arizona as I could see! I also dabble in acrylics and oil painting.

The years of 2016-2018, I hiked more than 200 mountains throughout Arizona taking illuminating, artistic photos.

My art and my photography have sold privately in private home 'Salon's' in Scottsdale, Arizona where I continue to have previews and exhibitions. The photos on FAA that have my signature, likely will not be sold on FAA, but I display them here nonetheless.

I am never more happy than when I am behind the lens of a camera and seeing the world as no one has seen it before. I love to share my experiences via my photographs and hope for a long life to continue this wonderful expression of creativity through photography.
