I graduated from Glasgow School of Art in 1982 after gaining a Degree with Honours in Design, specialising in Printed Textiles. After teaching art in a High School for ten years in Scotland, I immigrated to Brisbane, Australia where I have recently retired from teaching art, part-time, to young people in a private College. I now teach art to children in my home studio and the rest of the time I produce graphite, pastels, acrylics and watercolours plus photographic prints and products for my Oz Wildlife Studio Shop.
I am particularly inspired by wildlife and nature. We share our garden with many wild guests including parrots, kookaburras and possums. I am fortunate to be able to get up very close to them with my camera and sketch pad.
