Lee Baker DeVore's work focuses on the natural world, the earth and forces of nature, where she is most connected and feels the most alive.   She prefers to work intuitively and gesturally, in a unique style influenced by impressionists and expressionists, with a splash of Oriental brushwork.   She creates paintings, collages & drawings, with oils, acrylics, torn papers, natural objects and ink, as well as using found objects as tools and earth pigments as pigments (like mud, berries, flower petals, whatever is handy).   Lee received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Miami University, but she began...more
