I love the outdoors and am inspired by the beauty in nature.   I have been hiking and exploring since the age of ten when my family moved to a home near thousands of acres of woodlands in Connecticut.   At age 14, I went on my first 3-day backpacking trip on the Appalachian Trail in Vermont.   What a great experience.   It was just two kids.   My friend's father dropped us off at the trailhead and picked us up three days later.   I have been backpacking ever since.   I got a Canon AE1 camera when I was still in high school and I loved...more
