Larry was born and raised in southern Indiana, a land with abundant wildlife and breathtaking scenery.   He started his fascination with art at an early age and enrolled in a watercolor class at the age of 12 taught by local artist, Mary Carmichael.   After graduating from high school, Larry attended Harding College.   While studying for a pre-architecture major, he took painting and commercial art classes and knew immediately that he was pursuing the wrong career.   Commercial art meant he could exercise his artistic mind on a daily basis while continuing to pursuing fine...more
