This gallery is all about my home state. It's filled with images from all over the state. The states name is derived from the Choctaw words okla and humma, meaning red people. It is also known as the Sooner State in reference to the non-Native settlers who staked their claims on the choicest pieces of land in the great Land Rush of 1889. Oklahoma is known for its small mountain ranges, prairies, mesas, we have some really nice lakes and the eastern forests in the eastern part of our state and our state is prone to some extremely severe weather. I have a mixture of photography and photography based digital art.
