L. T. Sparrow is an innovative artist and poet. She spent much of her childhood with her missionary parents in the Bolivian jungles. After returning to Los Angeles in the 1960s she pursued a bachelor of arts degree in religious studies and a master of arts degree from the University of San Francisco.
