My specialty in creating art is to utilize digital software to paint or recreate actual scenes. My art has been seen on my own personal paranormal book covers, material objects, crafts, etc. Currently, I sell my artwork at Northwoods Pioneer Gift and Gallery, Two Harbors, MN. I have also sold my work as an artist in two exclusive locations - South Shore Arts Gallery and Gift Shop, Munster, Indiana (near Chicago) (Vendor #696), a very upscale theater venue (white glove), and Handmade Market (craft store), Lafayette, Indiana.
When able, I participate in donating my work to silent art and music auctions. I also participate in craft shows. My 3rd silent art auction was held in June 2017 at South Shore Arts Gallery, Munster, Indiana to help the EveryKid program (approximately 30,000 kids). My 1st music silent auction was held at the Northwest Symphony Orchestra, Merrillville, Indiana, on September 25, 2015, to donate to the music program.
Some of my best pieces (in my eyes) do not get much attention while others get sold quickly. It appears to me that people like familiarity or bright color. Although I often create 'out of the box' images that appeal to a limited audience, I have found that it takes the right look, quality, conditions, people, price, mood, or emotion to sell an image.
My work is created into magnets, greeting and note cards, book markers, poster prints, canvas prints, pillows, totes, pens, beauty compacts, book covers, etc. Selling my work on Fine Art America has been a rewarding experience for me with a few sales to date re: the Mormon Temple (Utah), Auschwitz Berkinow camp (Poland), Indiana State Fair, and a Purple Butterfly image.
My images look best printed by Fine Art America, Shutterfly, or PrinterStudio.com. PrinterStudio.com is very reasonable with their pricing and I have found their quality of image is above average. My notecards are printed by VistaPrint. My other items are generally printed using Fine Art America, Shutterfly, VistaPrint, or PrinterStudio.
Former World Expressions, LLC, now Artisan Impressions, LLC, my company, designs unique, one-of-a-kind art from original real life photography images taken all over the United States, Canada, Europe, and world.
Images created into art are NOT taken from a royalty free photography sites. The artist has been a professional photographer for 30+ years, has won awards and recognition for her photography, has formally been a wedding photographer, and has been mentored by professional artists in the field. The artist uses software to design her photography images into one-of-a-kind digital art styled pieces.
