My work explores the relationship between time, and personal feelings. I gradually build representational images incorporating a range of aspects of my own cultural background and the influence of the Old Masters. This process permits me to link my unconscious abstractions into harmonious structures, mirrors of my present state of mind. Playing with the creation of atmospheres around the figures that completes their world, a world that reflects the complexities and psychological realities of my own.
Through the use of different media and objects, I play with time. Ornate gilded realities illuminate with what I would call “My Baroque” and my cultural background, together with the power of Renaissance I create “My Religion”. All play a part in the scene of Hopes and Dreams of Mystical aspirations.
