Katie Slaby, was born and raised in the northwoods of Wisconsin where she acquired a deep love of nature and beautiful scenery.   Trees, in particular, have been the inspiration for many of her paintings.   Katie enjoys spending time hiking through the woods with her husband and daughter.   She considers herself blessed to be one of several artists in her family, and enjoys donating her art work to charity fundraisers for organizations such as: The Humane Society, The Hannah Center, The Down Syndrome Network, and The Children's Adventure Farm Trust.   Katie started her first...more
