My Mother had an artistic flare and always encouraged me in anything I tried.   I started to draw at a very early age.   I would draw my characters on wood and cut them out with a little hand saw, then paint them.   I liked to experiment with paint, let it drip, etc. to see what it would do.   I am a graduate of DuCret School of Art were I studied fine and graphic art.   After graduation, I would do children’s portraits by commission.   My paintings were offered for sale in coffee houses along the Jersey shore.   My work is owned by...more
