For me, the objective of painting is to become lost in the process.   When that happens, it becomes an experience that is almost transcendental.   I love to just be in the act of painting or drawing.I grew up in various parts of the country and came to Texas in high school.   The Texas landscape is endlessly fascinating and my current work is focusing on that.   Floral motifs are also something to which I am really drawn.   I have discovered that drawing every day is very valuable to maintaining both my interest and skills.   Works of art that have a...more
