Kathleen Gwinnett is a graduate of Parsons School of Design and her first career was as a women’s sportswear designer. She therefore always has had an interest illustrating figures and including them in some of her paintings. She enjoys using images of colorful flowers, landscapes and beaches as her subject matter, but her favorite are historical structures of Europe and America. She tries to give an accurate but color-filled impressionist view to these subjects.
During the last 10 years she has sold her artwork of European and North Carolina paintings and prints on the internet from her web-site. Her paintings are now in the homes and corporate offices across American and abroad.
She always is looking for the challenge of a new painting and welcomes commisions.
