Judy lives and works on a cattle ranch in Eastern Oregon with her husband, Mike, daughter, Becca, and their two Pugs, Lillie and Opie.   Judy enjoys photographing and drawing the abundant wildlife and the western culture that Lake County in Oregon is famous for.   Working in graphite pencil allows for beautiful detail and, for the artist, an increasing understanding of the subject as the work progresses.   She has also detoured into colored pencil and enjoys the vibrant colors.   With either medium, Judy loves the simplicity of a pencil in hand...its marks and movements on a paper...more
