Through the years my artwork has been cherished in homes that I’ve been commissioned. My work has been professionally recognized in schools, magazines, functions and galleries throughout North and South Carolina. A vibrant painting “Color Blind” was nationally recognized and displayed by Verizon Wireless student art competition.
The medium of choice is oils. My palette is dominated by vibrant colors of Rembrandt, Winsor Newton and Georgian oils. Working with oil color gives me level of gratitude knowing that I can work with one of the toughest yet forgiving mediums. The quality time spent on one painting makes me feel that the work has all of my creative soul into each brush stroke.
The rich color of my work is an attempt to evoke a specific emotion, the essence of a subject as I try to capture the moments on canvas.
