Born and raised in Old Town, Maine I have always loved the Maine woods. Camping, hunting, fishing, and hiking are four of the greatest things that this great state has to offer. From Cape Neddick to West Quoddy, Rangley to Moosehead and Mount Katahdin to Fort Kent, Maine has so many places to go and sites to see.
The wildlife of our state, the moose, deer, bear, loons, eagles and puffin to name a few were what enticed me to first pick up my camera to capture all their beauty. As the third oldest in a family of nine children I learned at a young age the importance of hunting to feed the family. Over the last few years my interest in photography has grown and my interest in hunting has diminished to some degree. I still believe strongly in a persons right to hunt game and bear firearms, as for myself I find that photography is the best way to shoot wildlife.
Aside from the natural beauty that this state has to offer I also enjoy photographing antique and classic automobiles.
