My style is an explosion of color and originality. My most creative pieces come from a jolt of creativity at a instance,my techniques are calculated,yet spontaneous,i enjoy freeing my thoughts into the canvas of choice using various mediums,and bright colours, mostly Oil,acrylic,watercolor,aerosol, and fine tuning & sealing the energy in my pieces with bold black ink work and borders, producing a vibrant,deep, and colorful and creative piece reflecting my urban & natural inspiration.My work is a mix of Splash,mechanical, graphic, feels surreal at times,and is put together like a gigza puzzle of images of people,animals,sceneries,objects,and filled with organic imaging. I do believe my art will hang well with most fine art gallery's,I enjoy fine art, working with my favorite mediums, oil on canvas or watercolor, i produce mellow,vibrant,settings, with various brush techniques to achieve bold blends.I do figurative as well as surreal, but likley to finish off with the graphic style inkk work to help bring out detail and depth.
I enjoy doing mixed media projects,photography projects,murals,street, graphic,and many more. I have been influenced by Greats like Leonardo Da Vinci, Michelangelo, to more modern artist, like Andy Warhol. I do have a urban street art influence,like Banksy, Shepard Fairy, and many others have help me mold who i am artistically today.Today i work out of Del Rio and Austin Texas, in my small studio space, producing art on a daily basis,I enjoy designing and printing T-shirts,Toms Shoes and merchandise,skateboards,guitars,and anything else that could use a makeover. I do have another love which is Tattooing which taught me many great lessons along the way, some about professionalism and decipline,others helped overcome mental blocks. I have been tattooing just as much time as painting, My Father Jose Montejano Jr was a painter. Learning very early on about artistic techniques help blossom my artistic vision and creative thinking very early on.I will continue to do both fields as long as i am able too.
