John R. Pleak is a mixed media painter and illustrator living and working in central Indiana. The inspiration for his work comes from many varying sources. He utilizes American popular culture combined with American history and mythology to create artworks that he calls Unibrow. John believes that Unibrow is the combination of lowbrow and highbrow sensibilities in his visual art. He is active in the central Indiana Art Scene and is expanding his reputation as an imaginative and innovative contemporary artist on a national and global scale.
