John was born and raised in New York City.   Recommended at an early age, he was accepted to the renown High School of Art and Design located in midtown Manhattan.   Graduates include Calvin Klein, Tony Bennett, Paul Winchell, Henry Wolf and many Oscar and Emmy winning artists.   After graduating John studied at the college level School of Visual Arts also in New York City.   He went on to have a very successful art career on both coasts as the Art Director of national magazines such as Travel, Star, Great Foods, Fishing World and San Francisco Business...more
