I have been tinkering with digital art as a hobby since way back in the 1980s, starting on a Radio Shack TRS-80. My membership in Fine Art America is my closest approach so far to 'going pro.' My primary emphasis is on algorithmic art--I've tinkered with fractals a bit, but my work recently has concentrated on non-fractal math structures, where I think there is still a lot of unexplored territory.
