Born in Milwaukee Wisconsin, Joe’s mother was an amateur artist who started his lifelong interest in art.   A wonderful elementary school art teacher furthered his awareness and curiosity.   Painting took a hiatus during four years at the US Naval Academy and four years in the US Navy.   Upon returning to civilian life Joe gradually resumed his painting.   He has taken art classes at the Layton School of Art in Milwaukee, Florida Atlantic University in Palm Beach and at Brevard College, and attended various artists’ workshops.   Joe also follows several artist's...more
