My nickname is Jilly Willy, and I paint every day! I recently moved back to the Atlanta area near Lake Lanier. Most of my paintings reflect my love of life on the water.
I graduated from Hollins College, Virginia, studied graphic design/studio art (Lane School of Art in Avondale Estates, Georgia). In 1998, I received my M.Ed from Kennesaw State University, Georgia while teaching math/science full time. I have been fortunate to have studied art in workshops with: Bob Lane, Tony Couch, Frank Webb, Don Andrews, Nina Fritz, Billie Mathis, Linda Kotila, Robert Burridge, Anne Brodie Hill, Greta Schelp, and others.
