A self-taught artist, Jennifer grew up in a small town in Northern Idaho. Her talent grew steadily through childhood winning her countless awards. A prolific pre-teen artist, Jennifer was selling her commercially available artwork by age 11. By the age of 18, she was a well recognized regional artist who was receiving commissions for both canvas works and decorative wall murals. Today her craftsmanship can be found in homes and businesses throughout the Northwest as well as local galleries.
An avid fan of the canvas medium, Jennifer has produced dozens of art gallery paintings. Greatly influenced by the mountains and fields of north Idaho, eastern Washington, and western Montana, her works portray both wildlife and landscape genres.
Recently when asked about her artwork, she replied:
' For me art is an all consuming passion that is as necessary to me as breathing itself. The goal for every project I decide to undertake is for the finished artwork to evoke a connection with the imagination of the viewer.
I love painting, it gives me an opportunity to express myself and my love of nature. I love to be outdoors experiencing the raw and inspiring beauty of nature while hiking thruogh the mountains. What I see is so awesome, whether it's just the forests themselves or the wildlife that I happen upon. I am always astonished by the beauty I see and wish to capture as much of that feeling as possible on canvas.'
