Jean Elizabeth Porter Jean was born in Montreal Quebec, and a retired interior designer.   Memories of the cold snow in Montreal. and a weekend farm in Markdale Ontario, in later years, inspire her paintings.   Various interests in her grandchildren's lives, also influence her work.   Studies with Raymond Martin in Niagara on the Lake, Ontario, Jean & husband's weekend place, are reflected in many of her pieces.   Incorporating music, while painting, has always been important in creating the joy of painting, the cd's are always playing..   An Aurora Ontario...more
