Mike Swedenberg has been an active photographer ever since he received his first film camera at age 6.   Being the independent type, he insisted on loading the film himself but didn't know the film had to be shielded from the light.   His first roll came out black.   Over the years he worked on his skills, reading every photography book he could find, studying the professionals for any clue he could discover.   In college he was introduced to the techniques of developing his own black and white film, making contact prints and enlargements.   He reached the next level...more
