A few words about me, My name is Jacqueline Yevette Brodie, I sign my artwork as Yevette Welan, My middle name and my married name. I worked professionally in the art field for many years painting and designing collectables and giftware, as well as doing some painting on the side. I have always enjoyed painting and creating new works of art. When all the other kids were dreaming of new toys for Christmas , I was hoping for art supplies. As a child I thought that the best smell in the world was a new box of crayons. I paint today just for the joy of creating something that might awaken some kind of emotion inside the viewer. I also dabble in the digital art field creating not so ordinary images.
