Simple...I love this world of ours and I want to keep every memory that I encounter. How do I do it? I carry my camera everywhere and use it to the MAX!!! PHOTOGRAPHY is my passion. Well, I have other passions but photography is tops!!! I am a grandmother, recently retired after teaching for many, many years. I was born and raised in San Jose, Costa Rica but came to the USA as an exchange student when I was 18 years old. Then, went back home, started my studies of Pre-medicine at the UCR (University of Costa Rica) but did not complete my requirements for medical school. My parents were transferred to Washington, DC as diplomats and I joined them. Some years later, I came to Georgia to complete my Biology degree, met with my high school sweetheart and the rest is history: 37 years of marriage with the same man. We produced two wonderful children out of which we have been blessed with grandchildren. My grandchildren have become my muse in my photography. Later on in my life, I completed a degree in Psychology and then a Master's Degree in Spanish culture and civilization. I am bilingual (English and Spanish) and love to practice some French and Italian, too. Languages make it so easy to travel...my other passion.
Traveling has also been a major part of my life. As I travel and experience new cultures, people, history, I add that special touch: a photo here and there. It has become such a monumental and gratifying thing in my life, that I have started selling my experiences in the form of photography and cards. I hope you enjoy what I shall present to you here. Don't be afraid to let me know what you think about my photography and how I can improve. I wish to one day, not too far from now, to publish a Photography book based on my travels around the world.
I belolng to the WGShutterbugs photography organization. My photography can be seen in an exhibit at the Carrollton Art Center in September. I do photoshoots of children, offices, and other events. Please do not hesitate to communicate with me about any special celebration. It will be my pleasure to be part of it.
