Shawnah was born on a farm near North Bay, Ontario, CANADA.   As a child, she would past the time drawing pictures with a stick on the ground or in the snow.   One day, her brother brought home a New York newspaper.   Upon looking at the newspaper she was drawn to a price winning art contest.   From this, at twelve years old, she entered her first contest where she had to draw the exact picture of the face of a woman.   The picture was so good that her mother sent it to the New York newspaper.   A month later, she received a letter that she had won and...more
