Born in Columbus, Georgia, Garn Bugby spent most of his youth in Midwest City, Oklahoma, where he studied art extensively throughout his secondary education, receiving private commissions and numerous awards in statewide competition for several years.   Garn studied as an undergraduate in southern California, eastern Washington State and then transferred to Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah where he received his BA in 1974 and his MFA in 1977.   He was part of the art department teaching staff at BYU for three years.   Garn has received numerous awards in fine arts for both juried and...more
