Frank called Wyoming home from birth until joining the United States Navy in 1971. Following a 35-year Navy career, he and his wife retired to the life of full-time RVers traveling around the United States and Canada. In the six years that followed, they visited all but four states in the Continental United States, including Alaska. They also visited several Canadian Provinces. In 2012, the couple settled down in Kyle's Central Texas community. They spent the fall and winter months in Kyle while spending the shoulder seasons traveling. Their summers were spent in Yellowstone National Park, where they volunteered. In 2023, they relocated to Charlotte, NC, where they now use it as a jumping-off point for international travel and photography.
As Frank traveled the country, he realized there was just a lot to see and take in. He had always been an avid photographer. Frank refined his photography skills during the couple's wanderings and now specializes in wildlife and nature photography. He feels very strongly that this earth needs to be conserved, or future generations will not be able to enjoy the natural world. Through his photography, he hopes to help convey that, as a species, we need to take care of the planet.
