Fran Atchison is originally from and again resides in New England.   She studied Studio Art at Eckerd College in St.   Petersburg, Florida and continued her studies in Athens, Greece with Vassilis Kypreos and the Study in Greece program.   She spent a decade in North Carolina and now resides in New Ipswich, New Hampshire.   The artist’s roots in New England and artistic inspiration from Study in Greece combine to create a unique poetry of the mundane—stoic, classically beautiful, and above all, exquisitely mystical.
