My greatest pleasure comes from creating paintings that I believe make you feel good. Art with positive energy that can light up your world and bring out the best of your environment. All my art is made with this feeling and this positivity is passed onto the buyer through that work. I'm inspired by the colours, freedom and perfection of Mother Nature and how we are affected by this.
I try to consider several things when I paint for sale. The contemporary world, where buyers often buy a piece to match their home decor to light up a soft or minimalist room, or modern colours designed to enhance and create a conversation piece. From smooth oil scapes and florals to dense textured acrylic abstracts, watercolours, gouache, pencil and bold brush strokes all exist within my work. I may include series of works that will allow you to add pieces to your collection that will compliment each other.
As for me, I have always painted and had the most amazing art teacher. Winning competitions and National awards in school. In 2023 I retired having worked behind the scenes in art, more recently with art for game applications as an illustrator and designer, which taught me a lot and made me realise digital art is also fabulous. Nothing compares to getting messy with a proper paintbrush so retirement has given me an open door, and I'm so blessed I can create what I want. I work in a wide variety of media. My new series of works are coming soon and I'm quite excited about it.
