Erin Marie Hickey is a Post-Modern Surrealist whose work also espouses the influences of Fauvism, Symbolism, and Expressionism.   She commenced her education in the arts at age 15.   During this formative period, through the study of classical drawing and painting techniques, she began her love affair with the human form.   After a journey of self-discovery that took her across the United States, she returned home to her native New York with renewed purpose and vision.   Soon thereafter, she began studies at The Maryland Institute College of Art, and then returned home to complete...more
