Since childhood, I have made art through a variety of media.   While I received a visual arts scholarship when I began college, life took me on a path to a Bachelor of Science in politics from Texas Woman’s University and to a soon to be completed Masters of Public Administration from the University of North Texas with Masters Coursework from the College of Visual Arts and Design.   Naturally, with such a background, I feel that art and public matters are inextricably tied, and feel strongly about advocacy for public arts.   Rather than calling myself an 'artist', I say that I make images, work...more
