Hi, I'm Jason; the photographer behind Earth And Spirit.
I'm from the Caribbean island of Trinidad & Tobago, now based in Brooklyn, New York. But I love to spend as much time as I can on the road, with my camera in hand; just exploring this amazing planet of ours.
I fell in love with Photography in my late teens and taught myself to shoot. I spent hours on end in bookshops; discovering and looking through the works of photographic giants like Steve McCurry, James Nachtwey, Sabastiao Salgado, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Sam Abell, and Galen Rowell.
I was actually there so much that one of the stores, Borders Book Shop, just went ahead and put me to work!
