Doug LaRue has won awards for art, photography, film and package design and has been published in books, newspapers, magazines and movies around the world. His art and photography has showcased in solo and group shows including the Texas State Capitol, Austin City Hall, The Wittliff Collections at Texas State University and the Forsyth Gallery Collections at Texas A&M University. His creative skills have been utilized to design architecture, books, magazines and produce industrial films and commercials. LaRue art directed a feature film with an Academy Award winning actor and has photographed science, music and history documentaries. He wrote and directed a SAG independent film, appeared in feature films including the Mike Judge movie Idiocracy among others.
