For as long as I can remember, I have always loved having a camera in my hands. When I was about 7 years of age a relative bought me a camera and there began my love of photography. Soon my Dad seeing the wonderful family photos I made got me a better camera, and Doreen the Shutter bug was born.
Likewise, always having a deep love for computers I learned to create wonderful graphics that people adored. So, after mastering my personal computer, I recognized the combination of photography with software’s many facets could create both beautiful photos as well as stunning digital art.
Today’s digital imaging satiates my desire to work with Photos, software and graphics. Ultimately it gives the freedom to combine colors and composition in so many delightful ways with photography and digital art, that it gives the feeling of true artistic expression.
Through the years my initial enjoyment of photography and computers has become a journey of self-directed study with some professional training. At present, as an Artist I create freelance Photographs as well as Digital Art, and it is my hope that you will find beauty, joy and inspiration through my art and photos.
