I first became interested in photography watching my father develop prints in his self-made basement darkroom back when I was a kid.
While I photograph many subjects, most of my inspiration comes from my love of nature and animals. I am to not simply document, but create and share the vision from within and to do this I use a variety of techniques ranging from camera settings and lenses to additive lighting as well as post processing in Photoshop.
My work has been published in the Daily Mail, the Chicago Sun Times, the Naperville Sun and Michigan Avenue Magazine. I have also been published in several photography magazines including 5x5 Photography Magazine, Method Press, the fPOE Collective and the fPOE Book 'Still: the art of living'.
As a member of The Artisan Group, my work has been gifted to the likes of Jessica Alba and Sarah Jessica Parker and included in exclusive swag bags at GBK gift lounges preceding the Academy Awards, the Primetime Emmy and more.
I also serve as treasurer for the Chicago Photography Center.
