It probably started with a young teenager looking at NatGeo pictures and deciding that he wanted to be the next Galen Rowell. First published at seventeen, first exhibition at twenty-one, photography suddenly took a third-row back seat for a couple of decades as life unravelled in unforeseeable directions.. A couple of decades later, the re-entry to the initial passion was a decade of extreme mountaineering and the resulting photos becoming the foundation for a stock photography business. Age, not stopping at my doorstep, led me to shift priorities back to what I once dreamed of doing. Living in a small RV since 2020, I currently travel throughout Europe at a leisurely pace while stopping here and there to playfully relearn a craft I once wanted to master.
