Ever since I was a small child, drawing and painting has been my passion.   My favorite medium (at this moment) is oil painting.   Since I was trained as a watercolorist, I prefer to paint my oils in a watercolor fashion.   I like to paint in thin layers of paint, allowing each layer to dry before adding the next.   This glazing technique imparts a luminous quality to the painting.   This past year has found me more and more involved in portraiture.   I love to study faces of all kinds and attempt to read through the features into the soul of the...more
