I lived most of my life in the Washington DC area, but now I call sunny Florida my home.   After many years as a small business owner, consultant, and news anchor, I am back to one of my first loves - art!   My favorite medium is watercolor, although I also love mixed media and drawing.   I also enjoy sewing quilts and other textile arts.   In 2014, I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer (stage 4) and survived chemo, radiation, and multiple surgeries.   I was still in treatment for that when I was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma in January, 2020.   I...more
