Diana was born in Montreal, Canada, and grew up in New York. She is an artist with a camera who uses technical skills and an artsy eye. Inspired by her dad at age eleven, he presented her with her first real camera, a Minolta Hi-Matic 7s. She is multi-talented and passionate about Photography, Writing, Genealogy, and Teaching. She holds an Education and Art History degree and has lived and traveled extensively.
In 2018, she moved to the East Coast from Denver, Colorado, to be closer to her family. Diana discovered her strong family ties to the Carolinas dating back to the Civil War through a DNA test on her paternal side. She has been a member of the British Columbia Genealogical Society and the National Genealogical Society. since 2017. She resides with her Siberian kitten, Gatsby, on Pawleys Island, South Carolina.
Diana's art is reflected by what inspires her. Diana's photos have been seen in Georgetown's local travel guide and advertised in online promotions. She has been featured in The History of South Carolina, Marsh and Mountains, Red Maple Gallery, Art Harbor Gallery, and the Rice Museum in Georgetown. She is a member of the Waccamaw Necks Arts Alliance organization.
In March this year, she completed her manuscript. As of June 2023, she is now officially under contract with a traditional publisher for her forthcoming book, 'HIJACKED My Canadian Birthright.' The story is a real page-turner that takes readers on an emotional roller coaster ride through three countries, uncovering a shocking truth after nearly three decades.
